VeraCrypt

VeryCrypt AES(TwoFish(Serpent)) is the most demanding encryption task available in a list of tests available in VeraCrypt. We test out the multicore processor and see how it takes advantage of multicore to speed up processing.

The screenshot shows the cores are all maxed out during the test.

Using 1 GB dataset for the benchmark test, the speed in MB/s is recorded. As we can see from the results, the Ryzen 5 1600X scored 745MB/s is just 25% slower than the fastest 1800X. The speed is way faster than a core i7-6950X and Core i7-6900K.

As for the Ryzen 5 1500X, the numbers are also better than some of the Intel Core i7  processors.
