Installation

Installation is quite straightforward. We first test the Ryzen 7 2700X after which the Ryzen 5 2600X. Both processors uses the WRAITH PRISM heatsink for the test. In this case, we will give you an idea the out of the box experience.

The WRAITH PRISM is much easier to install compared to the previous generation of coolers that came with the mid and low range processors.

Our test setup consists of the following hardware :

AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and Ryzen 5 2600X,

Gigabyte X470 motherboards

G Skill DDR4-3400 2 x 8 GB modules.

Kingston HyperX 128GB SSD

Gigabyte NVIDIA 1060GT graphics card

Windows 10 Build 1703

NVIDIA forceware driver 391.35

Power profile : AMD Balanced

This is how it looks like when it is in pitch darkness.
