I am always asked, which mid range smartphone has a good camera that takes breathtaking photos. My first answer was, go and buy the highest end brands out there that comes with a F/1.8 lens or invest in a good camera.

2 weeks ago, we attended a press briefing of Honor 10. My first impression was, isn’t this the specification I was looking for ? I was amazed by it’s functionalities and decided to get one to test it out.

Honor 10, shares many of the similarities of the Huawei phones. In fact the processor inside this device is a Hisilcion 970 that runs the same Huawei P20.

The 5.84″ 19:9 ratio full view fits well into Asian hands for one hand operation. The phone also comes with a under glass fingerprint sensor which can also sense fingerprints with moist.

The Honor 10 comes with a 3400mAh battery which charges up to 50% in 25 minutes with it’s propreitary SuperCharge at 5v / 4.5A.

With the advancement of technology, Honor 10 seems to strike a good balance between functionality and price, making it a perfect smartphone and camera that might put photographers out of job.

You can also take self potrait with the 24 MP front camera. AI potrait with Bokeh effect or 3D Potrait Lighting creates professional studio lighting effects to your photos.

The camera also recognises 500+ scenarios in 22 categories. It can auto adjust the colours accordingly for the best picture reproduction. This is acchieve by its cutting edge AI algoritm which pairs subjects with optimal camera settings with AI learning by it’s Neural procesing unit (NPU).

The Honor 10 spots Dual SIM slots which you can connect to two operators both in 4G at the same time. Both radio supports VoLTE. This will come handy when telcos move to 4G networks only in the future.
