What about in Crystal Disk Mark ?

In CrystalDiskMark, the benchmark is run 5 times to get an average scoer. The Sequential Read scored 454.3MB/s and 173.1 MB/s for Write. While Sequential read is fast, the write seems to be a bit slower than my expectation. From the score sheet, the 4K QD32 seems to be pretty good for random read and write.

When hooked up with Thunderbolt adapter, it seems that the bottleneck is kicking in. The Sequenctial read is slower (-28%). As for write, the drive isn’t able to saturate the SATA 6Gbps nor Thunderbolt link.
