Conclusion

Conclusion

The Realme 6 Pro is aimed at the mid range market with a focus on photography. With 6 lenses built on the phone, it is probably one of the phone that can cover all the different aspects of photography ranging from selfie, macro, night shots, wide angle, you name it, they have it.

From the photos taken, we can see that 64 megapixel does capture more details than the 12 megapixel version of the same shot. The image stabilisation on this phone is also pretty good during the 4K shoot. This is not the case for night shots with digital zoom. Even with the new night photography mode Nightscape 3, images tends to be darker than the same shot we took with the Pixel 3 XL. The colours are also somewhat a bit faded in comparison to the Pixel 3 XL.

I like the Dual SIM+microSD tray as it allows me to continue using dual SIM without sacrificing one tray for microSD. VoLTE and VoWiFi works for all telcos in Singapore. In terms of performance, the phone is speedy and loads fast. This is confirmed with the benchmarks as it is near to the performance of a Snadragon 845 based phone.

In Conclusion, the Realme 6 Pro is considered a pretty decent mid ranger that does not compromise in terms of specifications and performance. I think there is room for improvement over it’s night photography. The digital zoom needs more work too.

The Realme 6 Pro is priced at S$499 and is available on Lazada store.
