The Battery control feature kicks in Stamina mode when there is 15% battery left. Ultra Stamina Mode will basically switch off most of the battery intensive features to conserve as much battery as possible for making calls. 
Antutu benchmark score of 48521. Based on the ranking, the Xperia XA Ultra isn’t the fastest but it is definitely at least 2X faster than yesteryear’s smartphones.
