Something interesting with Xiaomi phones is the ease to install gcam mod file. With the mod, we compare to night mode shot.
Using the night mode of the default camera, we took the shot below and took another using the gcam mod.
Which photo do you prefer? The original photo is cooler in colours while the Gcam is warmer. In fact, the same shot from the Pixel 3 XL looks similar to the Gcam mod. It is able to process the details.
I would say that both photos are good night shots as it was very dim at the location of the shoot near Boon Lay MRT Station.
