Samsung Electronics has unveiled a new security tool, Auto Blocker, as part of the One UI 6 update for Galaxy users. This tool is designed to provide enhanced protection tailored to the user’s lifestyle and will be available on compatible Samsung Galaxy devices starting from November 3, 2023, in Singapore.
Auto Blocker is an optional package that offers additional security measures, allowing users to take full advantage of the customisation options provided by Samsung Galaxy’s open ecosystem. The features include an option to block sideloading, app security checks to identify and prevent potential malware, USB command blocking to prevent harmful commands, and an updated Message Guard for enhanced protection while using popular third-party apps.
