Today at COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2017, AMD showcased the power of its upcoming Ryzen and Radeon products, as well as highlighted new Ryzen-based high-end gaming systems from top global OEMs and announced launch timelines for several of its upcoming datacenter, prosumer, and consumer products.
Ryzen Momentum
AMD announced that all the top global PC OEMs, including Acer, ASUS, HP, Dell and Lenovo – expect to have Ryzen-based designs in the market by end of Q2 2017, powered by Ryzen 7 and Ryzen 5 desktop processors.
Ryzen Mobile
AMD demonstrated publicly for the first time a Ryzen mobile APU in an ultraportable reference design, bringing 4 cores, 8-threads, and Vega graphics into a sub 15mm thickness notebook design.
Ryzen Threadripper
AMD demonstrated Ryzen™ Threadripper™ and dual Radeon™ RX Vega, paired together running Prey at 4K resolution.
AMD demonstrated Ryzen™ Threadripper™ and quad Radeon™ Vega Frontier Edition, paired together running Blender with ProRender.
AMD announced cutting-edge high-performance motherboard designs from ASRock, Asus, Gigabyte and MSI, built upon the X399 chipset.
