Wall street journal reports that Goldman Sachs (GS.N) and Apple Inc (AAPL.O) are preparing to launch a joint credit card as early as next year.
The new credit card targets customers to purchase Apple products. It’s expected to be released early next year. Goldman Sachs will also offer in-store loans to Apple customers, according to the report.
The move will spur more users to adopt Apple Pay. It would probably work as a Virtual VISA credit or debit card and can be paid via Apple Pay.
A Goldman Sachs spokesman declined to comment, while Apple did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
