Last week, AMD launched it’s latest 7000 series graphics card with it’s partners. The latest model is the Radeon HD 7790. It is a PCIe 3.0 card The Radeon HD 7790 features complete DX11.1 support featuring the Graphics Core Next (GCN) architecture. It supports the AMD CrossFire, Eyefinity, PowerTune and ZeroCore power. In terms of cost/performance, the Radeon HD 7790 beats the competitors at every price point such that the competitor has to release a newer version just days after it’s announcement. Below is a break down of the Radeon HD 7790. While the default GPU clk is 1GHz , the Gigabyte version is clocked at 1075MHz and the 1GB GDDR5 clocks at 1.5GHz.
