If you have been looking for a cheaper alternative to the Huawei P20 or Mate 20 series of smartphone, this Honor View 20 should be something to look out for in Jan 2019.
Based on the Kirin 980, the performance won’t be different from the Mate 20 Pro. While Mate 20 Pro features a f/1.8 40 megapixel sensor which is rumoured to be customed made by Sony, we are definite the Honor 20 View will be using the IMX 586 a 48 megapixel sensor.
As Honor View 10 was supposedly the cheaper version of the Huawei Mate 20, there is a high chance that the software would not differ a lot between the Mate 20 Pro and the upcoming View 20.
No pricing information is available. We expect it to be at least 20% to 30% cheaper. I hope there is optical image stabilization on the View 20 as it was missing on the Honor 10 and Honor View 10.
