#MWC15 HTC just announced it’s fitness wearable the HTC Grip at MWC 2015.
The HTC Grip is the result of a partnership between HTC and under Armour, whose UA Record system is used to keep track of runs and workouts.
The Grip comes with 5 sensors that can track your workouts. It has a GPS integrated which can record your route, distance, pace, calories burnt etc. Battery life is expected to last for 5 hours when GPS is enabled.
Grip is compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones, so HTC is obviously hoping for mass appeal with its first big fitness device. It comes in two colors (“deep teal” or lime), with a choice of three sizes. Grip will be available later this Spring for $199.
