SiSoft Sandra 2010 Disk Benchmark
Using SiSoft Sandra 2010 Disk Benchmark, we measure the performance of the KignstonDT Ultimate 64GB under USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 connection on an ASRock X58 Extreme6 Motherboard.
From the charts, we can see that the same device runs at 32.4MB/s and random access time of 90us when it is connected to the usual USB 2.0 port through the Y-Cable provided.
When the stick is plugged directed into the NEC USB 3.0 powered slot, the performance improved to 79.7MB/s with a random access time of 60us.
The USB 3.0 interface gave the Stick a boost of 145% over the USB 2.0 inteface using the same stick.
