CPU-Z
CPU-Z is a software that most reviewers will use for checking the processor information. In fact, there is a benchmark facility built in which you can use to test the processor single and multithread speed.
In the multithreaded test, we can clearly see that the Ryzen 1800X tops the chart. The Ryzen 5 1600X when overclocked is almost as fast as the Intel Core i7 6950X. The performance at default also surpassed the Core i7 6900K.
As for the Ryzen 5 1500X, the performance is surprisingly good and it even outperforms some of the Xeon processors out there.
This raw processing power is indeed impressive as applications that takes advantage of additional cores, in the case of Ryzen 5 1600X, 6C 12T might change the mindset of having quad core is sufficient for powering some of the demanding tasks like content creation.
