Introduction

On 19 Apr 2018, AMD 2nd generation Ryzen 12nm processors goes on sale  These 4 new processors have some improvements over the 1st generation in terms of latency, XFR2 just to name a few. More details in this link.

The Ryzen 7 2700X is a 8c/16t processor with base clock of 3.7GHz and Boost Clock of 4.3GHz. It has a total L1 Cache 768KB

In this review, we will test two processors, the Ryzen 7 2700X and the Ryzen 5 2600X against the 1st generation Ryzen 7 1800X and also the Intel Core i7 8770K.
