AVP and Heaven Demo DX11 benchmarks in Virtu MVP mode
In Heaven Demo at 1920×1080, we see some interesting results. From the results, we can confirm that the different versions of the Virtu driver have varying results on the benchmarks. In this case, the Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4 scored 102.6 and 102.8 fps when VSync and Hyperformance is turned on. The Biostar HiFi A85X on the other hand only get 74 fps and 74 fps when HSync and Hyperformance is turned on.
From the scores on the Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4, we can see that the score is getting closer to the Intel Z77 platform. The Intel Z77 PCIe 3.0 might have given the Radeon 7970 better throughput.
In AVP at 1920×1080, the benchmark is run. Both FM2 board score around 96 fps. When Hyperformance is enabled, the Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4 is slightly faster than the BIOSTAR HiFi A85X. When we apply the VSync, the results dropped to 147fps.
When compared to the Intel Z77 and FM1 platform, the FM2 platforms have surpassed them by almost 100% when Lucid Virtu MVP is enabled.
