Benchmarking
Our test system consists of Intel Core i7-8770K processor, 2 x 8 GB of GEIL EVO DDR4-3200 modules, Gigabyte GTX 1060 graphics card with Geforce driver 385.69 dated 21 Sep 2017.
The board will run at default with XMP Profile #1 selected (DDR4-3200).
We will be comparing it with our recently tested AMD Ryzen 7 1800X etc.
A serious of benchmarks will used concentrating on overall performance. The CPU is also tested by overclocking it to 5 GHz at (50 x 100).
First of all let’s take a look at Cinebench R15 benchmark results.
Cinebench R15 benchmarks
From the results, the Core i7-8770K definitely is faster than the AMD Ryzen 1800X in the single thread test at 191cb (Ryzen 7 1800X scores 158cb). In terms of multi core, this 6 core / 12 threads processor managed a 1442cb while the Ryzen 7 1800X 8 cores / 16 threads scores 1624 cb which still leads the pack. The performance in a multicore should be similar to a Ryzen 7 1600X.
instead of using numbers and have a user need to click through all the pages one by one to search for the information they seek, try providing titles that explain what each section will be about. it just a hassle to click through and makes me leave the site to find the information elsewhere.
