ATTO Benchmark
ATTO benchmark is used to test, we take the maximum performance for the 3 tests and compare it side by side. Again we see that USB 2.0 hampered performance down to 30MB/s ~ 35MB/s on the average. With USB 3.0, the speed jumped to 173MB/s for write and 184MB/s for read. That is 5.6x for write and 5.2x for read performance. There is no doubt about OCZ Vertex 2 based on SandForce controller gave it a good speed of 272MB/s and 284MB/s for SATA2 performance in write and read.
