IO METER benchmark
Last but not least, we tested the SSD usnig IO Meter again using USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and plain SATA 2. Using the Vertex 2 E 60GB SSD, we achieved 50669 IOPS 4K write using SATA2 interface (direct connection). With USB 3.0, it dips to 10949 IOPS. With USB 2.0, it drops to 1985 IOPS. Comparing USB 2.0 and USB 3.0, the USB 3.0 performance is 5.5X faster than USB 2.0.
