Google Nest Audio is a simple to setup audio device that fits either in your living room. Powered with a faster processor, it also respond faster than the Google Home when we use Google Assistant.
The nice thing about it is that it can be controlled all within Google home app, allowing audio casting to all devices. Unfortunately, you can pair with other Google home audio device for stereo pairing.
It is a pity that the Google Nest uses a proprietary AC power adaptor which looks simila to the one of the Nest WiFI point. It would be much better if Google used a USB C connector which can be shared with other Android phones. Secondly, the device is dependant on WIFI. I really hope one day with IoT, each device can operate with it’s SIM and IP address and probably powred by battery. In that case, you would be able to use it as a mobile audio device without needing to configure it to connect to WIFI.
If you like Bass, the Google Nest Audio is a good speaker you wouldnt want to miss for S$139.
