Vivo is gearing up to unveil its latest flagships, the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro, in China on October 13, 2025. Designed to push the limits of mobile photography and performance, this series is shaping up to be a serious challenger in the premium smartphone market.

Camera: The Star of the Show

Vivo has once again partnered with Zeiss, and the results look stunning. Both models feature Zeiss T* coating to cut down on flare and ghosting, but it’s the new sensors that steal the spotlight.

  • Vivo X300: 200MP Zeiss super primary camera (customized Samsung HP9 sensor).
  • Vivo X300 Pro: World’s first 200MP Zeiss APO super telephoto lens—a breakthrough for long-distance photography.

The Pro also raises the bar for videographers, offering:

  • 4K 60fps portrait video (a first in smartphones).
  • Dual-focus 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR.
  • 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording for pro-grade control.

Both models will also support a new Zeiss telephoto converter accessory.

Performance and Power

Under the hood, both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and Vivo’s Blueprint V3+ imaging processor, promising top-tier computational photography and smooth performance. They’ll debut with OriginOS 6 (Android 16) out of the box.

Design and Display

The X300 series introduces a sleek flat design with a distinctive “suspended water droplet” camera module.

  • X300: Available in Free Blue and Comfortable Purple.
  • X300 Pro: Classic Black and Beige.

Displays also impress:

  • X300: 6.31-inch LTPO, 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, ultra-low 1-nit brightness (BOE substrate).
  • X300 Pro: 6.78-inch flat QHD+ panel with 120Hz refresh.

Battery and Charging

Vivo is going big on battery life:

  • X300: 6000mAh with fast wired and wireless charging.
  • X300 Pro: Expected 6500mAh–7000mAh, plus 120W fast charging.

Rumors also suggest a “Satellite Edition” X300 Pro with 1TB storage and 16GB RAM. Both devices will feature a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor 2.0 for secure unlocking.

The Competition

With its powerhouse specs and photography-first approach, the Vivo X300 series is clearly aiming at the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
