Just launched in Kuala Lumpur, the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Pro will begin selling from 7 Dec 2019 in both Singapore and Malaysia. in Singapore, the Mi Note 10 will retail at SGD 699 while the Mi Note 10 Pro is priced at SGD 799.

Xiaomi mi note 10 series is the first smartphone that comes with 5 cameras. A 108MP, 12MP, 5MP, 20MP and. 2 MP macro camera. Some of the highlights include the 108 MP 1/1.33″ super sensor, 12 MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom , a 5 MP with 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom and lastly a 2MP macro camera for taking close up shots. There is also a 32MP front selfie camera. So far, only Oppo Reno 10X zoom and the Huawei P30 Pro is capable of doing 50x digital zoom.

Other than it’s impressive camera system, it comes with a 5260mAh battery and includes a 30W fast charger. That is pretty good to quickly charge up the battery within an hour. For those who require NFC, yes it comes with it which will serve you well with Android Pay or Singtel Dash. It also has the 3.5mm headphone jack and USB C charging.

For data roamers, the phone supports most of the common bands including LTE FDD B1,B2,B3,B4,B5,B7,B8,B18,B19,B20,B26,B28 and TDD bands B38 and B40.

Although it is powered by the Snapdragon 730G, the phone isn’t laggy at all. I would say for this feature set, the price of $699 is pretty reasonable for a penta camera smartphone.

If you can wait, perhaps Xiaomi might launch newer models with higher end processors in the future if this model does well.
