ASUS is one of the early adopters of technology. In the past, we have seen ASUS released Thunderbolt capable boards before the rest. Likewise, ASUS is again leading with pictures of their upcoming USB 3.1 capable offerings.
Firstly, ASUS will have an independent USB 3.1 PCIe card which supports the type C connector.
The other upcoming product is the X99-A USB 3.1 motherboard.
Although nothing is mentioned about the chipset, we suspect it is a ASmedia chipset.
