Camera modes
The camera on this phone is quite speedy, it took 1 second to go from standby to shooting mode.
In Camera mode, you can choose Screen Recognition to auto set the parameters, Normal, Front camera, 3D sweep Panorama, Sweep multi angle and sweep panorama modes for picture taking. Resolution can be set to 12M 4:3, 9MP 16:9, 2M 4:3 or 2M 16:9 modes. There are Auto flash, fill flash, red eye reduction and off flash modes to choose from. Capturing method can be via on screen button, touch capture or camera key only. There are also options for enabling and disabling smile detection, geotagging and shutter sound.
In Normal camera mode, you can take portriat, landscape, night potrait, beach and snow, sports and party mode. Exposure can be compensated from -2 to +2
The camera is also capable of taking videos. You can choose to use the front or back camera.You can choose the scene types – potrait, landscape, night, beach and snow, sports or party mode. Exposure from -2 to +2. Photo light can be turn on/off. For video recording, you can record in Full HD, HD 720p, VGA or MMS . Other features include self timer, focus mode, image stabiliser, White balance, geotagging, microphone on/off, capturing method etc.
