AMD Eyefinity Technology

If you own multiple LCD monitors, you may be in for a treat as A series platform supports the Eyefinity Technology. What this technlogy does is that it allows you to connect up to 3+1 1080p screens (+1 diasy chaining a Displayport 1.2 monitor). Currently, there are game titles which can take advantage of this feature. Some of these games can even achieve 50 fps at 1080p.

A game titled “TorchLight II” is able to achieve 32 fps. The game “Dirt” is able to achieve just above 30 fps but that is through the enabling of Dual Graphics with a Radeon HD 6570 graphics card.

For smoother performance, AMD Dual Graphics is recommended as it should be able to double the frame rate from say 25 fps to 50 fps.  The video below is a demonstration of AMD Eyefinity at work.

In fact, a 3 monitor set up will not only appeal to gamers, it will also appeal to stock brokers that requires multiple screens to do charting, technical analysis all at the same time.
