Real-world Benchmarks
The only hard drive that I have for direct comparison is a Western Digital Blue 5400rpm 3 Gbps SATA drive that came by default on my 3.5 years old E430 notebook. Hence the benchmarks can be a rough gauge on the improvement gained by upgrading an older 5400rpm hard drive to a new SSHD.
The following benchmarks are all run on Windows 10 Home (Build 1586.218).
Boot times on Windows 10 Home (Build 1586.218). It actually takes 41.41 seconds for the SSHD to load Windows on the 1st try. On subsequent boot-ups, it was reduced to 20 seconds & 17.55 seconds respectively.
